IT'S MORE THAN LEARNING TO RIDE A BIKE.
IT'S GROWTH, INDEPENDENCE & CONFIDENCE.
- We choose 4-5 adventure athletes each year to train for the Buccaneer 50k at Gravel Worlds in Lincoln, NE.
- The adventure athlete DOES NOT have to know how to ride a bike to apply. We have successfuly trained athletes to learn how to ride a bike and train to be prepared to crush the 50k (31 mile) bike ride!
- Training in this program is progressive. The athlete will start with 2 bike rides a week and will progress to 4-5 sessions a week. For example:
- One group ride with their fellow athletes/friends.
- One 1:1 training session with their coach.
- Two stationary bike rides at home (if you do not have on, we will provide one to borrow during the program).
- One at home strength session.
- For any more details you can email us at Info@adventureforallfund.org and put "Gravel & Giving Program" in the subject.
